Rest In Peace Grandma Wilde

Our Sweet Grandma Wilde passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 3rd of a stroke. We celebrated her 86 years of life at her prayer service and funeral held February 7th and 8th respectfully. She was remembered fondly by many and we all got a much needed chuckle out of a remark made by a friend of hers. He said, "I have only one word to describe Roberta....WOW!" He also remarked how she was one of the "wee people". :) Here are a few of my favorite things about Grandma Wilde; Patience, she had a lot of it. She was an artist. When I was younger she had her own ceramic shop in their basement. I loved painting down there. She painted numerous paintings. I have the painting of a one room school house she gave me years ago. Her hands were small but they were always busy. She was a prayerful lady who was deeply devoted to her family and church. She made delicious salsa with celery, the best homemade chex mix and peanut brittle at Christmas time. I think she invented frozen yogurt and had to be one of the first to make "walking" cool. She as an avid golfer with 3 holes in one to her name! She loved to fish and when we went camping we had the most fantastic fish frys. She holds a very special place in my heart and I am so grateful that Celine and Monte had her as a part of their lives. I love you Grandma. I will remember all the good times we had. Thanks for the memories. Carrie
