Good ol' Friends

Tim's best bud from high school came and spent the night about a two weeks ago. Some of you will remember Wes from our wedding, the guitar player. He resides in Alasks and was down on work related business. We were lucky enough to have him stay with us and treat us to some of his music. Monte is taking guitar lessons this winter and was impressed with Wesley's talent!

Snow Pictures

Just a shot of Monte on top of our mailboxes that have been snowed upon and blown in by the plow! I do have to say our mailman rocks! He dug out our mailboxes every time they were blown in! Don't let the sunny sky deceive you. The next day we woke up to more snow falling and 25-30 mph wind creating this to be a great place for us Azures to be StUcK! Yea, it took us about an hour and half to get through both passes. Tim was following me in the car! When I got to school that morning around 9:30 they were already making plans for an early out 11:30. Heck we had buses stuck and not making it in. That day during a lull, Tim came up, plowed a path, and I was able to make it home that evening around 5:00. He however was attempting to come home an hour later and it had started all over again. He couldn't make it up the Coteau, through the Hollow. Needless to say he spent the night at a hotel in Sisseton! We have some great snow storm stories to share from this winter!

A long winter at Buffalo Lake.

The lake side of the house brought us some amazing drifts of swirled snow. They reminded me of the dessert but colder! Our little resilient dog Rascal. He loves winter and when Monte comes outside to play!

A snow day in front of the house! Spring is a coming! My little hunter. We are all so happy to have warmer weather. He would come home after school and put all this gear on to hunt rabbits!
