Kids Keeping Us Busy!

"STEP OUT"
Monte went to "Step Out" this Saturday with the Severson Family along with some of his buddies. This was a Conservation Program sponsered by the Game Fish and Park and numerous other sponsers from the area. It ran from 8:00-5:00 at Lake Traverse. Some of the activities Monte got to do included: shooting a muzzle loader, 243, 20 guage, 22 automatic bolt action, bow shooting, throwing knives, Gun saftey, boat safety, practice casting into a pail and, "oh yea, I ate 3 BBQs!" As you can see below he was fell asleep after about 15 minutes in the car on the way home.. He had a Great Day. There were over 70 kids attending ages 8-18. Everyone left with a goodie bag. Monte won the Ear Protectors seen below in the photo! The big prizes were real guns, bows, fishng poles, and gift certificates to Cabela's and Gander Mountain. It was an eventful day to say the least. Today we locked up our own gun with the gunlocks they gave to the kids!

Here are a few pictures from Monte's football game last weekend in Webster. Obviously the weather was brilliant! After he played his game we went over a few blocks and had the chance to Watch Ceci, Sheila and Wendall's 3 year old, play soccer! It was a fun morning to say the least. Celine has been busy playing Volleyball. I am attempting to download pics from my camera of her.

Labor Day Weekend

Hello All. We spent most of the weekend at home doing a lot of fall cleaning in both the house and yard. However, the Neiland's invited us over to go 4-Wheeling with them. What an adventure that ended up to be. We spent about 3 hours traveling the gravel to places only Rydel would know. The weather was absolutely beautiful as we traveled the gravel all over visiting creeks to have a rock throwing contest, a buffalo farm, to picnic at a haunted house, out of site hidden roads that lead to beautiful wide open landscapes, and we visited and watched Rydel turn his compost pile! Now that's quite the machine. Needless to say the Azure's throughly enjoyed the horsepower and wide open spaces. Only 2 minor injuries. Damon had a tip over on the ruts with his bike and Tim ended up with a slight scratch right at the very end. He jumped up so fast I barely saw his tiny wipeout!
I am so glad to have my Blog working again. Hope to add more from summer to catch up on all we've been up too. Happy weekend to all of you.
