Snow Days!

Well the storm arrived Thursday morning. We missed school both Thursday and Friday due to the large amount of snow (12 + inches) and I'm sure the -30 below windchills didn't help. We've been battling the flu and headcolds. Everyone is antsy for SPRING!

Here is the lakeside! Yes, the snow is mid-way up my kitchen window! The lake is beautiful and looks like it has been frosted like a cake!

Flat Stanly came to us from Cousin Drew who lives in the Des Moines area. His class is doing the project. We will mail Stanly back with photos and a story of all the adventures he had with us!

Cool Weekend

Well we literally had a cool and breezy weekend. Celine had a game Saturday morning and Monte wrestled in Britton on Sunday after Sunday school of course! He did well. He won the first two matches then lost the final match to end up in 2nd place. He has definetly improved and still has a lot to learn. I think we are done for the season since we'll be up to Devils Lake during regions. Wrestling definitely has a "unique" culture! =) P.S. Thanks for coming Sheila. And Celine had a great time babysitting Cecilia! She feels so grown up!

Peaceful Weekend at the Azure's

We spent a quiet weekend at home getting things done around the house. Celine did make it to the GBB game in town Saturday night. The boys didn't bring home any fish. I guess I'm going to have to go out there and show them how it's done! Stay warm everyone. Spring is on it's way!
Also family please note. *Celine's Dance recital is May 26th this year and is in Britton. Next weekend we are busy with wrestling Fri. and Sun. and Celine has a scrimmage at TZ on Saturday!

Since he's been in wrestling the big "trick" is to see who can balance on their head the longest. Oh, how he loves a good challenge! This is right up his alley. He's actually getting better at it!

We started out the day with Celine's Sisseton Girl's B-Ball team playing the T.Z girls at Tiospa Zina. The game was fun to watch since I teach the TZ girls and also know Celine's team. It did get a little "rezzy" (rough) but Celine hung in there!

Weekend In Sioux Falls

Sheila and I spent an awesome weekend relaxing with my sister Kristi in Sioux Falls. We shopped, discovered new restaurants, and enjoyed Spa Day on Sunday. We had lots of girl talk and giggles. And have any of you ever been with Sheila during SUPER BOWL? OMG that girl can yell! Tim was wonderful and kept the kids busy ice fishing and sledding at home on the lake. Thanks Honey. Thanks to Kristi & Justin for their hospitality too!
